South Brunswick Police are advising motorist to expect delays Friday as South Brunswick Police Officers will be running in the Annual Torch Run to raise money for New Jersey Special Olympics. The officers will be running on Route 130 in the morning, on Ridge Road during mid day, and on Route 27 in the evening

South Brunswick Officers will be running with Special Olympic students at both  South Brunswick High School and Crossroads Middle School. Those two schools in addition to Monmouth Junction Elementary School have helped officers raise over $7,000 dollars for the Special Olympics this year.

Here are the expected delay times -

• 6am to 9am - Route 130 south from the North Brunswick to Cranbury
• 12pm to 1:30pm - Ridge Road from the High School to Crossroads 
• 4pm to 6pm - Route 27 south from North Brunswick to Princeton
