Two suspects and a pawn shop employee exchange gunfire during a robbery. Suspects and employee wounded.

LOCATION: 15100 block of 7th Street
SUSPECT(S): Two male adults
SUMMARY:
On June 6, 2017, deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery in progress at a pawn shop in the 15100 block of 7th Street. The reporting party stated there were two male suspects, both armed with guns. An employee was armed as well and gunfire was being exchanged.
Just before 2:00 p.m., two adult males walked into the pawn shop. They inquired about some game consoles and firearms the shop had on display. The suspects then told the employees they were being robbed and gunfire was exchanged between the two suspects and the armed employee.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered both suspects, and one of three employees had been hit by gunfire. The suspects were still at the location and were detained without incident. The employee suffered a non-life threatening wound and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The two suspects also suffered non-life threatening wounds. One suspect was transported to a local hospital for treatment, the other was flown to a trauma center for treatment.
Investigation of the incident is continuing and further information will be released as it becomes available.
