05/29/2017 @ 12:05 pm .  A male transient was stabbed in the back by a male transient during an argument. Responding deputies located and arrested the suspect.  #02804

05/29/2017 @ 10:44 pm.  A woman removed jewelry valued at $1124 from a display area and attempted to leave the store without payment. The suspect was arrested. #02817

05/29/2017 @ 3:30 pm -10:00 am.  A spare tire cover was taken from a vehicle.  Loss $1200.  #02828

05/29/2017 @ 11:00 pm.  A man walked into the business armed with a handgun and demanded all the money from the cash register.  Loss $310.  #02818

1200 block Harper Avenue
05/29/2017 @ 11:30 pm.  A man was walking NB on Harper Avenue when a male transient began to follow him.  When the victim reached his vehicle, the suspect produced a switchblade knife and demanded his property.  Responding deputies located and arrested the suspect. #02819

05/29/2017 @ 4:15 pm - 4:30 pm.  An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed two passports and a blank check from the back seat.  Loss $540.  #02813

06/01/2017 @ 9:00 am - 10:54 am.  An unknown suspect removed a bathroom window screen to gain access and removed a ring and necklace from the bedroom.  Loss $750.  #02859

7500 block Santa Monica Blvd
06/01/2017 @ 3:45 pm.  A man walked to the front counter of the store and lifted his shirt to reveal a handgun tucked into his waistband.  A store worker saw the gun and ran to the back of the store.  The suspect fled the area on foot.  No loss.  #02862

600 block Westbourne Drive
06/01/2017 @ 8:15 pm.  A woman was walking on the sidewalk when a car suddenly stopped near her location.  A woman (suspect) exited the vehicle and walked towards the victim.  The suspect tried to pull the victims purse from her grasp but the victim resisted and a short struggle ensued.  During the struggle, the suspect produced a handgun and pointed it at the victim.  The suspect took the purse, returned to the vehicle and fled the area.  Loss $230.  #02868

7700 block Lexington Avenue
06/02/2017 @ 12:20 pm.  A male transient removed window screens to gain access to the main residence and a guest house.  A motion camera inside the residence alerted the homeowner, who called WHD. Responding deputies located and arrested the suspect.  No loss. #02881

8800 block Melrose Avenue
06/02/2017 @ 11:30 pm - 1:50 am.  An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a purse containing a cell phone, keys, and wallet from the front floorboard area and a sweatshirt and sunglasses from the back seat.  Loss $900.  #02903

06/03/2017 – 06/04/2017.  An unknown suspect removed two watches and three pieces of jewelry from the bedroom closet.  No sign of forced entry.  Loss $110K.  #02951

06/03/2017 @ 4:00 am - 6:00 pm.  An unknown suspect removed two pairs of sunglasses from the center console and four pairs of sunglasses from the glove box.  No sign of forced entry.  Loss $1800. #02927
