Flood Warning until 12:45AM Tuesday

The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a

* Flood Warning for... Central Delaware County in central New York...

* Until midnight EDT

* At 855 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that between 2 and 3 inches of rain had fallen since this afternoon, with locally higher amounts possible. Additional rain and a few thunderstorms will continue over the area tonight. Runoff will continue to keep water in areas that have already flooded. This additional rainfall will likely make flood conditions worse in some areas. This Flood Warning replaces the Flash Flood Warning issued earlier.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Walton, Delhi, Colchester, Meredith, Hamden, Andes, Bovina Center, Trout Creek, and Wolf Hollow.

* AFFECTED AREAS: DELAWARE

Instructions:

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
