Lancaster Sheriff's Station LANCAP TEAM NETS GUNS AND DRUGS IN SEVERAL SEARCH OPERATIONS
Our LANCAP team has been busy these last 30 days!
On the morning of May 18th, 2017, the Lancaster Community Appreciation Program (LAN-CAP) Deputies served a search warrant at a home in the 43000 Block of Beech Avenue. The search warrant stemmed from information developed by the LAN-CAP team and resulted in three felony arrests. Deputies executed the search warrant and ruing their search they determined there were approximately 8 people inside the residence. Three suspects were identified: Victor Raul Diaz, Nicole Rodriguez and Jason Wadyates. During their search, Deputies recognized the three named suspects and arrested them for Forgery and Carjacking. Deputies recovered three firearms and ammunition, in addition to several fraudulent credit cards and checks. All three suspects were transported to the Lancaster Station Jail and booked on several felony charges. Suspect Diaz is being held on a $120,000 bail. Suspect Rodriguez is being held on no bail and Suspect Wardyates is being held on $125,000 bail.
Additionally, LAN-CAP developed information that resulted in the serving of a search warrant at an apartment in the 43800 block of 15th Street West on June 1st, 2017, at 1630 hours. The location, a Senior Living Community, is one of the many apartment complexes that the LAN-CAP team is responsible for patrolling. Tony Halstead, a male white adult was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sales. A large quantity of methamphetamine, ecstasy, tar heroin and powdered cocaine was seized from the suspect’s vehicle and residence. Suspect Halstead was transported to the Lancaster Station Jail and booked on the felony charges. He is being held on $50,000 bail
On Friday June 2nd 2017, following a hand to hand transaction, LAN-CAP deputies served a search warrant at a home in the 300th Block of West Jackman Street. Deputies confiscated several pounds of marijuana, methamphetamine and paraphernalia and made 4 arrests. Theodore Rodemeyer was arrested on felony charges and charged with elder abuse and manufacturing of cannabis. Annette Rodermeyer was charged with misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia. Robert Ramirez was charged with felony violation of parole. Andrew Burnett was arrested for misdemeanors outstanding warrants. All suspects were transported transported to the Lancaster Station Jail and booked on their charges. Suspect Theodore Rodemeyer is being on $20,000 bail. Suspect Ramirez is being held on no bail, Suspect Burnett is being held on $12,500 bail and Suspect Annette Rodermeyer was released after a $1,000 citation.
