Arson arrest in Needles

SUMMARY:
On June 3, 2017, at 5:32 PM, the Needles Police / Sheriff’s Department assisted the San Bernardino County Fire Department, reference the odor of lighter fluid emitting from an apartment on the 1900 block of Clary Drive. Once on scene, Deputy Vega saw smoke coming from under the doorsill. Upon entering the residence, Deputy Vega had contact with Cisneros and escorted him out of the apartment. The apartment was filled with smoke, and the kitchen had obvious signs of fire damage. Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Bombs and Arson Division and San Bernardino County Fire Investigators arrived and took control of the scene. Cisneros was arrested for Arson and booked into the Colorado River Station jail.
