RAVINE PARKWAY WATER PROJECT 
The City of Oneonta will begin the replacement of the water main along Ravine Parkway and Ravine Park South from West Street to West Dormitory Road beginning 7:00 a.m. on Monday, June 5, 2017, weather permitting. Tweedie Construction of Walton has been contracted to do the work, which should be completed by June 21, 2017.
Work includes replacement of water, and sanitary sewer facilities as well as sub-base, and pavement restoration.
During this time, Ravine Parkway will be closed to through traffic during the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Road Closed and Detour signs will be posted. As such, commuters will need to use alternate routes to access the college during this time.
The project will create some disruptions for property owners and residents. There will be times when private entrance ways will be inaccessible as construction progresses.
