Flood Warning until 09:42AM Saturday

...The National Weather Service in Sterling Va has issued a flood warning for the following rivers in Virginia...West Virginia... Shenandoah River at Millville affecting Clarke...Warren and Jefferson Counties Heavy rains over the past few days have resulted in high runoff along the Shenandoah River. This resulting in a surge of water moving downstream across Clarke, Warren and Jefferson counties. Some roads near the river have already started to flood. The National Weather Service in Sterling Va has issued a

* Flood Warning for The Shenandoah River at Millville.

* From this evening until Saturday morning.

* At 6 PM Friday the stage was 9.5 feet and rising.

* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by late this evening and crest near 10.2 feet by late this evening. The river will fall below flood stage by late tonight.

* Impact...At 10.0 feet...Parts of Bloomery Road and John Rissler Road are flooded near Bloomery, West Virginia. Once these roads flood, access to homes is impaired but the homes themselves are not in any danger of flooding. Moulton Park and the Millville boat launch are also flooded.
