Marijuana Eradication in Valley Springs
(Valley Springs, CA) On 05/23/2017 at approximately 1:50 AM, Calaveras County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 2100 block of Evans Road in Valley Springs for a report of an altercation involving gunshots. Deputies contacted several subjects at the residence. A search of the property was conducted and an illegal, unregistered, marijuana grow was discovered.
Deputies seized 1 Pound 3.8 Ounces of concentrated cannabis (more commonly known as Hash or BHO) and 39 Marijuana plants. It should be noted that the process of manufacturing concentrated cannabis can involve volatile chemicals which are extremely dangerous. Additionally, Deputies located and seized several illegal aerial fireworks.
Eric Scott Schroeder, age 28 from Valley Springs was arrested for 3056 PC (Violation of Parole), 11358(c) H&S (Marijuana Cultivation), 11357(b)(2) H&S (Possession of greater than 8 grams concentrated cannabis), and 148(a)(1) PC (Resisting arrest).
