Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a male juvenile. The incident occurred Thursday, May 25, 2017, at approximately 9:00 p.m., on the 1200 block of West 93^rd Street, unincorporated Los Angeles.

Detectives have learned that South Los Angeles Station deputies responded to the call of a gunshot victim at the location. Upon their arrival, they found a male Black juvenile in the driveway of his residence, suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the upper body.

The victim is a male Black 17 years-old. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was not gang related. It is unknown if the shooting is gang related.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to investigate the shooting death of a male juvenile. The incident occurred on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at approximately 9:00 p.m., on the 1200 block of West 93^rd Street, Los Angeles.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
