During the morning hours, a female student was walking to school in the area of Rio Hondo Avenue and Guess Street in Rosemead when she was approached by a male Hispanic 30-40 years of age in a dark colored 4-door truck with a small dog inside. The male unsuccessfully attempted several times to get the girls attention by motioning for her to come over to his vehicle. Temple Station detectives are requesting the public’s help in identifying the male in the attached composite sketch. Contact Detective Juan Rivera at (626) 285-7171 with information. Parents are reminded to talk to their children about not getting into strangers vehicles and to immediately report any incidents to law enforcement.
