At 9:35 a.m., Officer Franchi conducted a warrant service in the 36900 block of Niles Blvd.  A 63 year old adult male was arrested for his active warrant.

#015 Indecent Exposure, Resisting Arrest and Violation of Parole

Officers responded to the area of the 3500 block of Madison Co when a community member spotted a suspect from a recent indecent exposure case. The suspect ran when Officer Kerner arrived and a foot pursuit followed. A quick perimeter was set up and the 22 year old adult male was located and arrested. The male was combative and placed in a body WRAP.  He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.  Officer Kerner arrested the male for indecent exposure, resisting arrest, and a parole violation.

#021 Missing Person

At approximately 1:30 p.m., a caller reported his 81 year old wife missing. The missing person was considered at-risk and had left in a vehicle she wasn’t supposed to drive. An APB Net flyer, Code Red, and Silver Alert were all activated. At approximately 4:00 p.m. she was located at Cloverleaf Bowl.  Her family responded to the location and she went home.  Officer Koehler is the case agent.

#028 Strong-Arm Robbery

Officers responded to the area of Argonaut Way and Mowry Ave on the report of a strong armed robbery called in by the victim.  The victim stated that while on a walk, two men in their 20’s pulled up to him in a dark colored 4-door sedan and asked for his wallet and phone.  The victim didn't have any of those items, but the suspects didn’t believe him and hit him about the head with their fists.  The loss was about $2.00 dollars that the victim had in his pocket.  The suspects were last seen headed eastbound on Mowry Ave.

#035 Auto Burglary and Resisting/Obstructing

A victim on Perkins St. called 911 to report a person was sitting inside of his F350 pickup truck parked in front of his house, and that no one should be inside.  The victim was able to see that his back glass window was broken out.  Several officers arrived on scene and began giving demands to the solo occupant inside the cab of the truck.  The female suspect, later identified as a 25 year old adult female, refused to exit the vehicle.  Sgt. McCormick used a vehicle intercom to try and talk to her, but she continued to refuse. Pepper ball rounds were introduced and she still refused to exit the truck.  Officers had to break a passenger side door window to extricate the female from the truck and she was arrested for auto burglary and resisting/obstructing.

#001/2/3/4 Stolen Vehicle Recovery

Officer Burns conducted a security check at Motel 6 north and located an unoccupied stolen vehicle.  Surveillance was conducted for about an hour and then officers decided to recover the vehicle.  The vehicle had two different plates on it as well as another plate inside.  While dealing with this, officer located an adult male sitting in another stolen vehicle… also with different plates.  After speaking with him, it was determined that he was the registered owner.  He had conveniently recovered his own stolen vehicle in Tracy and hadn't contacted police to remove it from the stolen vehicle database.

#005 Stolen Vehicle

Officers were detailed to a stolen vehicle call where the victim was following his stolen vehicle and an associated blk Cadillac Escalade (paper plates).  The two split up and officers locate the Escalade near Thornton and Oak.  It initially yielded but then fled.  A short pursuit was initiated but called off when the vehicle blacked out and began driving the wrong way on the road.  Investigation handled by Officer Burns.

#006 Battery and Trespassing Arrest

Officers responded to Denny’s south on a disturbance call.  An adult male decided to pester employees of Denny’s as they were closing, claiming he was hungry.  During the disturbance he punched an employee who just happened to be trained in jujitsu - bad decision and luck!  Officers arrived and the male was arrested for battery and trespassing.  Investigated by Officer Paiva.
