Sheriff’s Deputies are actively searching for a missing Santa Rosa woman. Catherine Huberty, a 54-year-old woman was last seen on Friday, May 20, 2017 at about 6:00 PM by her caretaker at her home in the 2200 block of Mark West Springs Rd. Deputies were called to her home at about 8:30 PM on Saturday, May 21st. Catherine is described as a high-functioning schizophrenic who recently stopped taking her medications. She is also mobility impaired but has the ability to walk with a cane.
Sheriff’s Search and Rescue volunteers spent the day yesterday looking for Catherine. Catherine was seen on a neighbor’s video surveillance walking up a dead end driveway in the area of the 2200 block of Mark West Springs Rd wearing a black dress with a white shawl and using a broom handle for walking assistance.
The Sheriff’s Search and Rescue team is back out in the area today with canine teams and more personnel. We are asking that anyone who sees a woman matching this description to please call Sheriff’s Dispatch at 707-565-2121.
