Today, Riverdale and Jonesboro Police Departments along with the State Department of Comunity Supervision joined forces with the Clayton County Sheriff's Office to execute Operation "Guardian of Gotham"! 19 wanted persons were arrested today based on the teamwork of these 4 agencies.

Most notable out of the 19 arrests was Jonas Williams who was arrested by Sheriff Victor Hill's elite Fugitive Squad.
Jonas Williams was wanted for Aggravated Battery and Aggravated Assault with intent to Rape/Murder/Rob for a violent incident which occurred May 2, 2017 in Riverdale.

After a male victim got in a physical altercation with another person, Jonas Williams ran over and stomped and kicked the victim in the head area. As a result, the victim suffered serious injuries to his head area which put him in a coma. He ultimately died 2 days later in the hospital. Murder charges are forth coming after the release of the autopsy.

Meanwhile, Williams will continue to face the wall at Georgia's toughest para-military jail until his murder warrant arrives.
