77 year-old Donald Masaru Takeuchi, was found safe in Northern California this morning. The Sheriff's Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating Mr. Takeuchi.

Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Missing Person’s Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Donald Masaru Takeuchi, a 77 year-old male Asian who was last seen at his residence in the city of Altadena at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2017.
 
Mr. Takeuchi is described as 5’6”, 170lbs, having salt and pepper colored hair, brown eyes and wears eyeglasses. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, red vest and khaki colored jeans.

Mr. Takeuchi was last seen driving his burgundy 1996 four-door Toyota, license plate #3PCRC189, when he left his residence to go shopping.
 
Mr. Takeuchi’s family is very concerned because he suffers from Alzheimer’s.
