Details: On Friday, May 12, 2017 at 9:47AM, CPD officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Letts Avenue regarding a possible residential burglary report. The reporting party advised dispatch a male and female subject were possibly breaking into the backyard of the residence. The male and female subject were last seen walking down the alley behind the residence. Officers later spoke with the reporting party who advised she did not actually see the subjects damage the lock to her gate or enter her backyard. Officers made contact with a male subject, later identified as Victor Hugo Medina, who was found in possession of a lock pick tool and drug paraphernalia. Medina was also determined to have two active Kings County warrants for possession of narcotics. Medina and the female both denied damaging the lock to the back gate to the residence. The female at the scene was later released with no charges. Medina was cited to appear in Kings County Superior Court for possession of burglary tools and possession of drug paraphernalia. Medina was later transported and booked at the Kings County Jail for the active warrants, one of which had no bail amount and the second warrant having a $15,000.00 bail.
