A Jackson Police Officer sustains a serious injury responding to an Aggravated Domestic Assault call.
On May 10th, officers of the Jackson Police Departrment were dispatched to the 200 block of Moize Cut-off for a domestic assault in progress. In an effort to apprehend the suspect, one of the responding officers climbed over an 8' ft fence causing serious injury in the area of their back.
The officer was transported to a local hospital and continues to recover from the injury.
