Evansville man arrested on DUI charge. 
On May 14, 2017, at 12:08 a.m. Sergeant John Fischer conducted a traffic stop on a Silver Chevy Silverado for speeding on US 41 near County Road 700 North. Upon approaching the vehicle Sergeant Fischer detected the odor of alcohol coming from the driver 44 year old Patrick Martin of Evansville, Indiana. At that point Sergeant Fischer conducted a roadside DUI investigation. At the end of his investigation Sergeant Fischer transported Mr. Martin to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated (DUI.) He remains in custody on a $650 bond.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
