#008 Commercial Burglary
CSO Schwartz investigated a commercial burglary that occurred sometime Wednesday night at Papa Murphy’s Pizza on Mowry Ave.  Loss was cash taken from a cardboard box in the business.  The owner was having trouble accessing the video surveillance but the burglary may have been captured on surveillance.
 
#024 Under the Influence Arrest
Staff from our Personnel and Training Unit were carpooling to lunch when they on-viewed a vehicle driving erratically and then collide with multiple parked vehicle at Driscoll and Paseo Padre Pkwy.  The driver, a 45 year old adult male, was detained without incident and was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.  Investigated by Traffic Officer Tran.
 
#041 Chain Snatch Robbery
Officers responded to Fremont Blvd at Margery Dr. to investigate a chain snatch robbery. A female walking in the area was approached by an unknown suspect and asked to use her phone.  When the woman was distracted, the suspect ripped her necklace off and jumped into a nearby waiting vehicle.  The suspect was described as a black male juvenile, wearing a hat, black sweater and black pants.  The vehicle was only described as a black 4dr with tinted windows.  The vehicle was last seen fleeing westbound on Margery Dr.  Case investigated by Officer J. Bordy.
 
#049 Providing False Info to Officer  
Officers were dispatched to the 4200 Block of Laurel St. on the report of a person sleeping on a futon in the rear yard.  Officers contact a 56 year old adult male who initially provides a couple false names.  The male is found to have an outstanding arrest warrant out of Santa Clara County.  He is arrested and transported to Santa Rita Jail.
 
#046 Stolen Vehicle 
Officers investigated a stolen vehicle in the 4400 block of Central Ave.  The victim reports his vehicle was stolen sometime during the day.  A red 1994 Nissan XE pickup (CA# 5A43257) was stolen and entered into the stolen vehicle database.  Case investigated by CSO Goralczyk

#044 Mental Health Evaluation 
Officers were dispatched to the area of Stevenson Blvd/Blacow Rd on the report of a woman throwing things in the street, walking into traffic and standing in front of cars.  The female is contacted and found to be in need of a mental health evaluation.  The female is transported to a local hospital. 
 
#055 Under the Influence Arrest
Officers were dispatched to the Target store at Fremont Hub on a call of a potential bicycle theft.  Officers contact a 25 year old adult male and he is arrested for being under the influence. Investigated by Officer Oliveira.
 
#033 Commercial Burglary 
Unknown suspect(s) forced their way into the Mingala Café on Warm Springs Blvd. via window smash (river rock used). No loss reported. Investigated by Officer Wong.
