Female arrested for burglary at a convalescent home in Loma Linda

SUSPECT(S): Lisa Ann Miccio, 50-year-old female, transient, San Bernardino, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential Persons
SUMMARY: On April 20, 2017, Deputy B.Ortiz responded to a convalescent home for the elderly. Ortiz began an investigation into the theft of a credit card and the subsequent use of that credit card. He also learned the suspect in this case had stolen the victim's identity and falsely impersonated the victim. Ortiz was able to follow-up on several leads developed during this investigation.
On April 25, 2017, Ortiz received information about another theft of credit cards and identification cards at the same facility, with a new victim. During the investigation of the two cases, he determined them to be related and alledgedly committed by the same suspect. As a result of his investigation, Ortiz was able to identify Lisa Ann Miccio as a person of interest in these cases.
On May 5, 2017, Ortiz contacted Miccio at the incident location. Evidence obtained from the fraudulent use of the credit cards showed Miccio had committed the burglaries at the location. Evidence further showed Miccio had stolen one of the victim's identity and falsely impersonated the victim.
Deputies were able to recover and return all of the victims' stolen property. Deputies also recovered additional credit cards and identification cards suspected to be stolen.
Miccio was arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center for the above violations.
