LOCATION: City of Victorville
SUMMARY:
During the month of May, the Victorville Police Department’s Traffic Division will be conducting extra enforcement operations throughout the city. The focus will be on excessive speed violations and red light enforcement.
Nine dates throughout the month of May have been set to conduct these extra enforcement operations. Two such operations have been carried out so far, resulting in 35 vehicle stops. As a result of these stops, 29 citations and six warnings were issued.
The primary cause of traffic collisions is excessive speed and inattentive driving. Avoid costly fines and dangerous collisions by obeying the posted speed limits and focusing on the road. Your actions make a difference.
