On Saturday, May 6, 2017, the American Cancer Society and the Borough of Fair Lawn will host its first Relay For Life of Fair Lawn event that will take place at the Fair Lawn Community Center from 6:00 pm to 6:00 a.m. Relay For Life is the national signature activity of the American Cancer Society and the largest fundraising activity in the world – it is a celebration of hope, progress and answers.

Groups of friends, families, and neighbors form teams and walk or run around a track, raising funds, awareness, and spirits. Honoring those who have survived cancer and remembering the millions who have not, Relay brings communities together to make a difference.

Relay is an overnight event because cancer never sleeps. Though we will strive to keep the noise down, please forgive us if it drifts into the neighborhood throughout the night. You are welcome to attend this special event to learn a little bit more and to see how beautiful the site is and to help us honor our survivors and caregivers and remember those we lost to the disease.
