Flood Warning continues to be in effect for Decatur County area thru May 6th at 8:00 am.

National Weather Service Flood Warning continues to be in effect for the Decatur County area thru May 6th at 8:00 am.

At 8:01 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that heavy rain was falling over the area. The heavy rain will cause flooding if it has not already. One to over three inches of rain has fallen over the warned area.

Additional rainfall amounts of around an inch or more are possible in the warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
