...A Wind Advisory is in effect for for all of Eastern Arkansas...the Missouri Bootheel...and portions of west Tennessee through late afternoon... .Windy conditions will prevail across much of the Mid-South as the Mid-South remains sandwiched between a departing surface low to our northeast and a surface high to our southwest. This will result in a tight pressure gradient through late afternoon. ...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CDT THIS EVENING... The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect until 6 PM CDT this evening.

* WINDS...20 to 30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

* TIMING...through late afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Loose outdoor items will be vulnerable in the wind. Driving may become hazardous...especially for high profile vehicles on west to east roadways.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CARROLL ... CROCKETT ... DYER ... FAYETTE ... GIBSON ... HAYWOOD ... HENRY ... LAKE ... LAUDERDALE ... MADISON ... OBION ... SHELBY ... TIPTON ... WEAKLEY
