Thunderstorms with heavy rain possible tonight and Friday. Moist, unstable conditions will bring a threat of strong thunderstorms with heavy downpours tonight and Friday as a cold front sweeps through the region. Storms will be moving quickly but will be capable of producing heavy bursts of rain in a short period of time as they pass over a location. Soil conditions are still near saturation in many locations and the potential exists for flash flooding on recent burn scars with these storms. Debris flows and mud slides are possible in steep terrain as well.
