A Victorville man is arrested for continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age 14

SUMMARY: On May 2, 2017, deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to Kaiser Permanente for a reported vehicle burglary in the parking lot. It was determined that no burglary had occurred and two men were engaged in a verbal argument. One of the parties, Nicholas Giles, was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant.
On February 21, 2017, detectives from the Victorville Police Department, conducted an investigation into allegations of continuous sexual abuse of a child, which is believed to have occurred between 2012 and 2013. As a result of the investigation an arrest warrant was issued for Nicholas Gary Giles, also known as Nicholas Gary Burstein.
Giles was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center in lieu of $1,000,000.00 bail.
A photograph of the subject is being released, as it is believed other victims may exist.
