Deputies arrest a man in San Bernardino for possession of a loaded firearm

INCIDENT: HS 11550(E) Under the Influence of Methamphetamine While Armed
LOCATION: Del Rosa Avenue and Date Street, San Bernardino
SUSPECT: Andrew Gonzalez, 27 years old, Fontana resident
SUMMARY:
On May 3, 2017 at approximately 1:43 a.m., Deputies K. Bush and S. Tabor from the Sheriff's Central Station, conducted a pedestrian check and identified the subject as Andrew Gonzalez, a Fontana resident. While contacting Gonzalez he told deputies he was in possession of a loaded firearm. Deputies conducted a safety search and located a loaded 380 caliber handgun in his possession. Additionally, deputies determined Gonzalez was under the influence of methamphetamine. Gonzalez was arrested for HS 11550(E) Under the Influence of Methamphetamine While Armed and booked into Central Detention Center.
