Joshua Higgins made #3 On Sheriff Victor Hill's on August 27, 2016 for a violent domestic violence incident when he made unauthorized entry into the residence of his estranged girlfriend through an unlocked patio door. The victim awoke to Higgins choking her. Higgins then dragged her out of her bed down a flight of stairs and smashed her cell phone. The victim had to actually pull a dread-lock out of Higgins's head in order to get him to stop.

Clayton County Police obtained arrest warrants for Aggravated Assault by Strangulation, Home Invasion in the First Degree, Battery Family Violence, and Criminal Trespass/Damage to Property for Higgins arrest.

Last night, Higgins received a surprise visit from Sheriff Victor Hill's elite Fugitive Squad and some members of his Special Operations Division which consisted of the Cobra unit and VICE squad. Higgins was taken into custody at a location in Rex and is now spending quality time facing the wall at Georgia's toughest para-military jail.
