#013 Trespassing
Officer Wilson conducted a security check in the area of Liberty St. and Capitol Ave and issued a trespass warning to a 24 year old adult male.
#021, 022 Possession of a Controlled Substance and Giving False Information to a Police Officer
At 10:43 a.m., Officer Carter stopped a vehicle in the 46000 block of Fremont Blvd, and arrested a 38 year old adult male for a warrant, and a 35 year old adult female for possession of a controlled substance and giving false identification to a peace officer.
#026, 027 Interrupted Residential Burglary/Attempt Residential Burglary
At approximately 1:05 p.m., a resident came home in the 3700 block of Savannah and found three people trying to open the rear door to her house. The suspects left in a white SUV. Minutes later, at approximately 1:10 p.m., a resident in the 4300 block of Crestwood St was home when two suspects broke into the house through the garage. The suspects fled when the resident screamed. Motor Officer Piol located a vehicle matching the description with three to four occupants, and a pursuit onto I680 southbound began. The pursuit was terminated when the suspect vehicle reached the area of I680 and 101 in San Jose.

Suspect #1 - Hispanic male, red hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, very baggy blue jeans, skinny build, approximately 19 years old.
Suspect #2 - Hispanic male, red hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, very baggy blue jeans, skinny build, approximately 19 years old.
Suspect #3 - Black male or female, gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants, round diamond stud earrings, dark short curly hair, "chubby" build, approximately 19 years old.
#022 Unlicensed Driver
Officer Watts and FTO Loughery conducted a traffic stop near Chapel Way and Fremont Boulevard and cited the driver for being an unlicensed driver.
#029 Residential Burglary
Officer Rodarte investigated a residential burglary on Jamestown Road after the resident returned home to find it ransacked. Entry was made via an unlocked bedroom window. Jewelry and a laptop computer were stolen. Possibly related to reports #026 and #027.
#034 Commercial Burglary
The Public Storage in Warm Springs had another storage unit owner advise their unit was burglarized between mid-March - April 13. Five handbags were stolen. Investigated by CSO Wilske.
#038 Residential Burglary
CSO Wilske investigated a burglary on Kansas Way. Entry was made via a side kitchen window after the suspects pushed down the side gate. Loss was two laptops.
#002 Public Intoxication Arrest
At 2:07 a.m., Officer La Strape and FTO Ferrara responded to Motel 6 north on the report of a male who was asked to leave the premises, but was refusing. They arrived and stopped a 54 year old adult male who was arrested for drunk in public.

#005 Unlicensed Driver
Officer Koehler stopped a vehicle at Decoto and Fremont, and arrested a 28 year old adult male for speeding as well as driving without a license.
#007 Under the Influence and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest
At 9:05 a.m., Officer Butcher contacted a 64 year old adult male in the 34000 block of Fremont Blvd, and arrested him for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
#008 Auto Burglary
CSO Romero investigated and auto burglary in the 38600 block of Lexington St. The loss is a Fox duffle bag containing bike riding gear valued at $1570.
#026 False Registration Tabs
Officer Gaziano conducted a traffic stop near Maple Street and Baine Avenue. He learned the driver, a 24 year old adult male Lathrop resident, had placed a license plate he found onto the vehicle to avoid being pulled over. Unfortunately, the plate he found was unregistered and his car registration was expired past six months. The driver was cited and released.
#023 Major Injury Collision
At 4:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to Kato Road near Warm Springs Boulevard for a collision involving a vehicle that rolled over. The swings traffic bureau responded and found that a single vehicle had been reckless driving and attempted to drift a corner but lost control. The vehicle sheared a pole and a fire hydrant then rolled several times. The driver and passenger were both injured and transported to a regional trauma center. Officer Hartman investigated.
Residential Burglary Update
San Jose PD contacted detectives after they located the white Jeep associated with the residential burglaries and our pursuit from the day prior. SJPD arrested several subjects. Detectives contacted SJPD to continue the investigation.
#001 Suspicious Circumstances
At 9:30 p.m., Officer De Stefano and Paiva were dispatched to the area of Chapel Way/Irvington Ave to investigate a suspicious 55 gallon metal drum. Both Officer De Stefano and Officer Paiva immediately closed the road down and set up a large safety perimeter. ACSO Bomb Squad and Fremont Fire Hazmat both responded to assist. The bomb squad conducted an X-ray on the drum and confirmed it was most likely empty. Fremont Fire Hazmat tested for odors and also cleared the drum as not a Hazmat situation. Fremont Fire took possession and disposed of the drum.

#015, 016 Warrant Arrest and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest
Officer Stiers contacted a 36 year old adult male near Niles and H St. and arrested him for a misdemeanor bench warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia.
#027 Vandalism
Officers investigated a vandalism case in the 33100 block of Gull Ct. The caller reported an unknown person threw a rock at their window. The reporting party also believed the unknown suspect(s) were in their backyard. Police personnel flooded the area, but the suspect(s) were not located. The rock was possibly thrown from the elevated train tracks west of the address.

#001,002,003 &, 004 Robbery Arrest, Obstructing/Resisting and Evading a Police Officer Arrest
At approximately 11:36 p.m., a robbery occurred in the area of Argonaut and Mowry, near Safeway at the Hub. The victim was confronted by two suspects in dark clothing who were both armed with knives. The suspects relieved the victim of his wallet and iPhone. Officer Roberts while checking then area observes a white Honda speeding through the Food Max parking who he suspected might be related to the Robbery. The white Honda flees westbound Walnut Ave to Parkhurst. Officer Manrique locates the vehicle eastbound on Sundale and attempts a vehicle stop. The vehicle does not stop and a short pursuit is initiated. The pursuit terminates at Sundale and Liberty when the suspect cannot navigate the turn and strikes the curb. Officer Manrique and Officer Harvey give chase and apprehend the male in the parking lot of the court house. Arrested was a 30 year old adult male, Newark resident. The male is not identified as the robbery suspect but still goes to jail and is booked for obstructing/resisting arrest and evading a police officer. At 2:09 a.m., the original robbery victim while out looking for his wallet is confronted again by the same two suspects still armed with knives. Officer Oliveira arrives on scene and detains one of the suspects, a 19 year old adult male, Fremont resident who is positively identified. The male was arrested for robbery. The second suspect was not located.
