#007 Mail Theft
CSO Tsai investigated the theft of mail in the 36000 block of Fremont Blvd. after several mailboxes were broken into during the night. No suspect information has been developed.
#018 #019 Theft and Robbery Arrests
At approximately 10:20 a.m., two suspects stole items from the Lucky’s store at Charter Square. During the incident they threatened to shoot an employee who chased them out of the store and then attempted to run over the employee as they fled the lot southbound on Fremont Blvd. As officers were responding, dispatch was advised that two suspects with the same description were just involved with a theft at Walgreens, located in the 3800 block of Decoto Rd. Several patrol units began checking other shopping center parking lots and Officer Collins saw a possible match in the Walgreens (Mowry Ave) lot. The vehicle was lost but was again located by Sgt. Morrison now in the Safeway Hub parking lot. As units began arriving in the area, a person matching the description of one of the suspects entered the passenger side of the vehicle which immediately began driving, exiting the parking lot onto Mowry Ave. Once sufficient units and the canine unit arrived, a high risk vehicle stop was conducted in front of McDonalds on Fremont Blvd. and the suspects were detained without incident. In the end, an 18 year old adult male, Alameda resident and a 19 year old adult male, Hercules resident were positively identified for the robbery. They also received charges of theft from the Walgreens incident on Decoto Rd.
#035 Driving on a Suspended License Arrest
At 5:07 p.m., Officer San Luis conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Corporate Way and arrested a 43 year old adult female for driving with a suspended license.
#046 Unlicensed Driver
AT 6:56 p.m., Officer Manrique conducted a traffic stop and arrested an 18 year old adult male for being an unlicensed driver in the 43400 block of Grimmer Blvd.
#029 DUI
Officers responded to a collision and determined one of the drivers was under the influence of drugs/alcohol. The 22 year old adult male was arrested and transported to the Fremont Jail. Case investigated by Officer Gregory and Malcomson.
#038 Obstructing a Police Officer and Suspended Driver’s License Arrest
At 5:32 p.m., officers were dispatched to an unknown injury collision in the area of Automall Pkwy and Fremont Blvd., that was later downgraded to a non-injury collision. When Officer Montojo arrived on scene, he contacted both drivers. As he was investigating the collision, the father of a juvenile occupant in one of the involved vehicles showed up at the scene. He was very upset and began causing a disturbance. When Officer Montojo asked him to stand back and return to his vehicle multiple times, but he refused to comply. At the time there was heavy traffic in all directions of Automall Pkwy and Fremont Blvd. The officer’s attention was diverted to the male who continued to interfere with their ability to safely get the involved vehicles off the roadway and complete their investigation. Officers subsequently arrested the 21 year old adult male for obstructing a police officer and driving with a suspended driver’s license.
#042 Residential Burglary
Officers investigated a residential burglary on Harris Pl. The caller reported his room was burglarized and several knives were stolen. Follow up being conducted on a possible suspect. Case investigated by CSO Escamilla.
#049 Residential Burglary
Officers investigated a residential burglary on the 40000 block of Blanchard St. Unknown suspect(s) entered the rear bedroom via an open window. The victim’s bedroom was partially ransacked and loss was jewelry and a black 1 TB external hard drive. Case investigated by CSO Escamilla.

All three were investigated by CSO Goralczyk.
#050 Stolen Vehicle Arrest
Officer Harvey located an occupied stolen vehicle (white Acura out of Union City) in the area of Fremont and Paseo Padre Pkwy. A high risk stop was performed at Paseo Padre Pkwy/Blackstone and an adult male was taken into custody.
#051 Package Theft
Officer Rodarte investigated a package theft from the front porch of an address on View Point Cir. Video surveillance captured an image of the suspect which was described as a heavyset male wearing a red baseball cap, white t-shirt, dark colored shorts and red shoes.
