Host Liability- Over the past week this agency responded to two homes where adults allowed underage drinking. On both occasions, juveniles had to be transported to the hospital. Not only could the home owners be civilly liable for the condition of these juveniles, they are also subject to being charged under 2C:33-17. The underage individuals consuming or possessing alcohol could also be charged under our Borough Ordinance 86-32.
