INCIDENT: Attempted Murder

LOCATION: 14200 block of Rodeo Drive

SUSPECT: Tyrone Williams, 33-year old Victorville resident
Gregory Young, 29-year old Victorville resident

VICTIM: Confidential, 42-year old male Victorville resident

SUMMARY: On April 28, 2017, deputies from the Victorville Police Department were at Victor Valley Global Medical Center (VVGMC), on an unrelated call, when a 42-year-old male arrived with a stab wound to his chest.

The victim and his girlfriend had been arguing when she left to go to a friend’s house. While the girlfriend was inside talking to her friend, the victim arrived at the location. As the victim walked up to the home he was approached by two men who live at the location. An altercation took place and the victim was stabbed by Tyrone Williams and punched by Gregory Young.

The victim was transported from VVGMC to a local hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

The two suspects were arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center for attempted murder. Both are schedule to appear at Victorville Superior Court on May 2, 2017.
