Trona deputies identify and arrest the suspect in a Commercial Burglary Investigation

INCIDENT: Commercial Burglary/Possession of Stolen Property
LOCATION: 81000 block of Trona Rd, Argus
SUSPECT: Vincent Thigpen, 21 years old, resident of Trona
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 5:34 p.m., the victim called Sheriff's dispatch to report a break in and theft from her storage garage. The location is in Argus, within the Community of Trona. Deputy Anderson from the Trona Sheriff's Station responded to the location and met with the victim who reported a substantial amount of property taken. Deputy Anderson talked to several local citizens asking about the burglary, and using the information he gathered, he identified Vincent Thigpen as the suspect. Deputy Anderson contacted Thigpen at his residence, and recovered the stolen property. Thigpen was arrested for PC459C - Commercial Burglary and PC496(a) - Possession of known stolen property. Thigpen was booked into the Barstow Jail with a bail set at $ 25,000.00.
