This Sunday April 30, 2017 the NJ Marathon will be taking place in our service area. The Marathon will traverse thru Oceanport, Monmouth Beach, Long Branch, Deal, Allenhurst, Loch Arbour, Asbury Park and Ocean Grove, which will result in multiple road closures and detours. These closures and detours will affect our service area from 7:30am until approximately 2:30pm.

The entire length of Ocean Ave will be closed for the duration of the race. All residents that live east of Ocean Ave are asked to move your vehicles to the west side of Ocean Ave prior to the race. There will be NO ACCESS for vehicles during the race. Large portions of Phillips, Almyr, Brighton and Edgemont Drive will also be closed to all traffic.

This is a significant event that will affect traffic for the better part of Sunday. Please follow the detours that will be in place and any officer’s instructions. The course map is attached for your review. We hope everyone has a safe race.
