On Tuesday, April 25, 2017 the Crime Victims’ Annual Vigil was held in the Capitol Rotunda. Ingham County Sheriff's Office Detective Annie Harrison was awarded the “2017 Beyond the Call of Duty” by The Michigan Crime Victim Foundation.

This award was presented by Attorney General Bill Schuette and is in recognition of her uncommon dedication and exemplary service on behalf of law enforcement and child victims in Lansing and Mid-Michigan area.
