4/24 – 4:50 p.m. – Police took a report of possible theft of mail, on Jotham Court. The complainant stated he sent birthday cards containing money, at the end of March and beginning of April. He had placed the cards in his mailbox and raised the red flag for the carrier. It cannot be determined if the mail was stolen, or something occurred to it while in transit. However, the police department would like to caution those putting outgoing mail in their mailbox. The red flag on the mailboxes is an indicator to would-be thieves there maybe something of value inside.
