Deputies arrest Desmen Bentley for attempted murder

SUSPECT: Desmen Bentley, 21-year-old Victorville resident
VICTIM(S): Confidential: 37-year-old male
SUMMARY: On April 22, 2017, Victorville Police Department deputies responded to a report of an attempted murder behind a shopping center on Seventh Street.
The suspect, Desmen Bentley, confronted the victim behind the shopping center and stabbed him multiple times in his chest, arm, and back. When deputies arrived the victim was bleeding and having difficulty breathing. He was flown to a trauma center for medical treatment.
The suspect was arrested for attempted murder and booked at the High Desert Detention Center.
