Schneider school evacuation DRILL today @ 12:30 
This afternoon, beginning at 12:30pm, the students and staff of Schneider Elementary School, 304 Banbury Rd., will conduct an evacuation drill along with North Aurora Police, Public Works, and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) personnel
We’re letting you know so you won’t be alarmed due to the evacuation & police activity in the area.
Students and staff will walk from the school to an evacuation site located on Butterfield Rd. (Rt. 56) and police, public works, and CERT personnel will be in the area to provide traffic control. During the drill, traffic on Butterfield Rd. near Laurel Dr. will be stopped to allow students and staff to cross. We aim to ensure the safety of all involved while minimizing any disruptions to traffic flow. We recommend that you avoid Butterfield Rd. until about 1:30 pm.
