Investigators with the Jackson Police Department are investigating a Shoplifting from Walmart, 2196 Emporium Drive. The Jackson Police Department needs your assistance identifying this suspect.
On April 17th, a white male wearing a light blue golf shirt, gray cargo pants, and brown shoes is captured on surveillance video attempting to return an air rifle that was obtained fraudulently. Surveillance video captures this suspect in the hunting section removing the security band from the air rifle package. Surveillance video then captures the suspect attempting to return the air rifle for a refund.
After failing to obtain a refund, the suspect places the air rifle in a buggy and exits the store. The air rifle is valued at $226.00.
Also, the suspect is identified as being approximately 45- 50 years old with brown hair that is balding. He was last observed leaving the property in an older greenish-blue colored, full sized, four door vehicle with bad paint.
