Attempted burglary suspect still at large in the Val Monte area. 
At 1025 PM, a resident called 911 saying that a black male was attempting to enter her residence through the back door. All units responded within minutes and observed a black female in front of the house on a cell phone. She was immediately detained and a search for the male commenced. Officers searched the immediate area but the suspect was not located. If residents see or hear anything out of the ordinary, please don't hesitate to contact the PVEPD.
