Police Serve Two Search Warrants and Arrest Woman on Gun Charges - Updated
HOLLISTER, CALIFORNIA – April 12, 2017 – The Hollister Police Department served two search warrants resulting in the recovery of illegal weapons and child endangerment charges.
On the morning of 04/12/2017 the Hollister Police Department with the assistance of the San Benito Sheriff’s Deputies, UNET agents and SCCSET agents, served two search warrants. The warrants were obtained through a Hollister Police Department investigation into an incident involving gang violence and firearms. The warrants were served on two houses at the same time.
Firearms including an assault weapon with high capacity magazines and a handgun were found at one of the houses.
Twenty four year-old, Jennifer Guardado, was arrested and charged with child endangerment. Charges of possession of an assault rifle and possession of a high capacity magazine were recommended for review to the District Attorneys Office but were not charged at the time of booking. She was booked into the San Benito County jail. Several others involved in this case remain outstanding.
