#007 Warrant Arrest
At 6:57 a.m., Officer Han contacted a 30 year old adult male in the area of Alpine Dr. and Pereira Ct. and arrested him for his active misdemeanor drug warrant.
 
#011 Speed Contest
At 10:34 a.m., Sgt. Miller was stopped in the parking lot of 41168 Boyce Rd. facing westbound when his attention was drawn to a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Ford Mustang.  Both vehicles came to a complete stop in the middle of northbound Boyce Rd.  As they sat side-by-side, the drivers began revving their engines.  After about two seconds both vehicles took off.  The continuously accelerated until they were forced to slow and stop for a red-light signal at Stevenson Blvd.  Sgt. Miller caught up and motioned for both to pull over.  The drivers, both male ages 18 and 22, were cited for several vehicle code violations.
 
#018 Mail Theft/ID Theft
At 1:10 p.m., a resident on Cade Dr. noticed a male taking mail out of mailboxes on the street.  The suspect was last seen headed towards Decoto Rd.  Sgt. Lawrence located the 29 year old adult male suspect who was found to be in possession of stolen mail and was positively identified by the witness.  The suspect was arrested for receiving known stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and committing mail theft.  Case investigated by Officer Han.
 
#019 Arson
At 1:14 p.m., officers responded to suspicious circumstance call of a fence on fire on Warm Springs near Mayten Way.  The fire appears to have started in the rear of 48313 Purpleleaf by unknown means.  This is in the same general area where multiple fires were set a few months ago.  No suspect leads.  Case investigated by Officer Snow.
 
#026 Embezzlement
At 6:04 p.m., officers responded to Walmart to investigate an embezzlement at Walmart.  The security staff had one of their employees detained for stealing.  Loss was food, lighters, Band-Aids, cigarettes and cash.  Officer Montojo responded and arrested a 51 year old adult female for embezzlement. 
 
#032 & #033 Non-injury Collision, Battery and Vandalism. 
At 8:48 p.m., a bicyclist that was part of a large bicycling group was struck by a vehicle at a slow speed (approx. 10 mph) on Farwell Drive and Eggers Dr.  The cyclist was not injured.  The driver drove to Mattos Elementary because the group of bicyclists was becoming aggressive.  Dispatch received a call from the driver’s wife stating that 200 subjects were confronting her husband. An additional call from a reporting party in the area allowed dispatchers to hear the confrontation in the background and driver yelling, “get off my car.”   Officers responded code-3 and by the time they arrived, the majority of the group had left.  They learned that the 73 year old adult male driver was punched by three different bicyclists in the face.  Sgt. Delema responded to the scene and met with some of the organizers who stayed behind.  The organizers told Sgt. Delema that they came from all around the Bay Area on BART to participate in this ride.  The driver’s ’69 Chevy Camaro vehicle was vandalized by the bicyclists.  Case investigated by Officer Knudson.
 
#045 Mental Health Evaluation
A caller reported a male was screaming at people and telling them that he wanted to go to John George.  In addition, the male claimed he had weapons in his car and that he wanted officers to tase him.  First arriving officers requested additional units.  When Sgt. Mahboobi arrived on scene, the male was still asking to be tased.  Sgt. Mahboobi continued to talk to the subject and within several minutes, he was able to convince the male to go with the paramedics to a local hospital for evaluation.  Case investigated by Officer Rodriguez.
 
#035 Hit and Run Collision
At about 10:37 p.m., a silver sedan struck a bicyclist on Automall Pkwy near Fremont Bl.  The driver did not stop and was not located.  The outstanding vehicle is missing a passenger side mirror.  The victim was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Officer Gregory handled the investigation.     
 
#004 DUI Arrest
At 1:50 a.m. Officer Gregory conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a brake light not functioning in the area of Washington Blvd/Roberts Ave. .  During the stop, a 53 year old adult male was arrest for DUI.

#015 DUI Arrest
11:55 a.m., Officer Carter conducted a traffic stop towards the rear of Ardenwood Plaza shopping center. The driver, a 21 year old Fremont resident, was determined to be extremely intoxicated and arrested for DUI. 
 
#016 Warrant Arrest
At 12:06 p.m., Officers Tran contacted a 34 year old Fremont resident, at the Warm Springs Round Table on the 46000 block of Mission Blvd.  The male was determined to have a non-extraditable felony warrant.  Unfortunately, he also had several no cite warrants for his arrest.
 
#024 Unlicensed Driver
At 4:25 p.m., Officer Rodriguez conducted a traffic stop and cited/arrested a 33 year old adult male for driving without a license in the area of Gibraltar Dr. and Nicolet Ave.
 
#025 Reckless Driving
At 6:00 p.m., Officer Macciola conducted a traffic stop and arrested/cited a 32 year old adult male for reckless driving in the area of Vineyard Ave and Isabel Ave.
 
#029 Warrant Arrest
1907 Officer Harvey conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 32 year old adult male for his no bail warrant and his $10,000 petty theft warrant.  He was transported to Santa Rita Jail.
 
#031 Expired Registration Over 6 Months
At 7:22 p.m., Officer Manrique conducted a traffic stop and learned the 17 year old driver never registered his vehicle since bringing it into California in 2015.  The vehicle was towed per VC22651(o); expired registration over 6 months.
 
#036 Possession of Narcotics
Officer Gregory conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 27 year old adult male for HS11350; possession of narcotics.  The male was transported and booked at the Fremont Jail.
 
#032 Vandalism
At 8:18 p.m., officers responded to a silent burglary alarm.  The alarm company reported they could hear glass breaking.  Officers arrived and found that unknown suspect(s) broke a window at Warwick Elementary School, which set off an alarm.  Officer Knudson responded and took a vandalism report.
 
#034 Possession of a Controlled Substance Arrest
At 8:50 p.m., an anonymous reporting party called 9-1-1 to report he saw a rifle and a handgun lying on the front seat of a silver BMW parked in the Chapel 7-11 parking lot.  Officers arrived on scene and the BMW was not in the parking lot.  Sgt. Crandall saw a similar vehicle and followed it until he had enough units to cover him.  Sgt. Crandall initiated the traffic stop, the vehicle pulled over and three people were detained.  No rifle or gun was located in the vehicle.  A 39 year old adult male was arrested for possession of narcotics for sale.  A 30 year old adult male was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.  The third person was released from the scene.  They admitted to being at the 7-11 and it was possibly a disgruntled customer who called the police.  We were unable to contact the original caller. 
 
#040 DUI Arrest
At 10:51 p.m., a caller reported a male driving a white 4-Runner who had just left a business in the 40600 block of Grimmer Blvd., was driving recklessly and white intoxicated. Officer Macciola arrested the 24 year old adult male for DUI during a traffic stop in the area of Grimmer Blvd and Bay St.  The male got out of his car and initially didn’t understand or comply with commands.  After a field sobriety test, the 24 year old male was arrested for DUI.
 
#039 Illegal Speed Contest Arrest
At 10$5 p.m., Officer Manrique responded to sideshow activity in the area of Mowry and Farwell.  He arrested a 23 year old adult male in the area of I880 and Cushing Pkwy for illegal speed contest on I880. 
 
#004 Trespassing
A resident on Carol Ave. woke up to find an unknown male in his backyard.  The male waved at him and then climbed on top of his shed.  The 28 year old adult male was located standing on the shed and arrested for trespassing.  The male said he was hiding from people chasing him.  Officer Oliveira handled the investigation.

#006 Under the Influence Arrest
At 8:52 a.m., a concerned citizen phoned 911 after witnessing an adult male throwing newspapers and conversing loudly with area trees. South-end zone patrol units responded to the area of Concho Drive and Potawatami Drive where they found a 34 year old San Francisco resident.  Ofc Snow investigated the matter and determined that the male was under the influence of a controlled substance.  He was arrested a transported to Fremont Jail without incident.
 
#018 Reckless Driving on Off-Street
At 4:39 p.m., Traffic Officer Ramsey conducted a traffic stop and cited/arrested a 24 year old adult male, Fremont resident, in the area of Campus Ct/Dumbarton Circle for speed contest and towed his car for 30 days.
 
#002 Vehicle Theft Arrest
At 1:21 a.m., Officer Perry stopped a 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck in the area of the LDS Church on Decoto Rd. The ignition was punched and the driver used his sleeve to cover his fingerprints while touching the interior of the vehicle.  A 22 year old adult male was booked into FPD Jail for vehicle theft.
 
#005 Stolen Vehicle/Vehicle Pursuit
At 3:56 a.m., Officers Perry and Higgins were dispatched to a suspicious circumstance call, possible auto theft or auto burglary report.  Upon Officer Higgins arrival, a truck flees the area.  The vehicle was a gold 2001 GMC Sierra.  A pursuit is initiated that reached speeds of approximately 100 MPH with very light traffic.  Eventually it drove the wrong way on I880 and the pursuit was terminated at that point.
