UPDATE:  SCE has completed the pole replacement and lanes are now open to through traffic.

The northbound lanes of Hawthorne Boulevard between Silver Spur Road and Blackhorse Road remain closed as a result of power lines being down.  Deputies responded to a non-injury solo vehicle traffic collision at 3:30 am this morning, where a vehicle struck a power pole. 

Repair crews are on scene at this time.  There is no current estimated time for the lanes to re-open.  Please check back for updates.  Motorists are advised to use alternate routes to avoid the area.
