04/03/2017 Monday 

Petty Theft -23900 block of Francisco Way
An unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s unlocked car and stole a few personal items. 

04/05/2017 Wednesday 

Petty Theft - 28100 block of Newhall Ranch Road
The victim was at the location and ordered a coffee and placed her purse on the table. She walked away from the table for a minute and when she returned her wallet was missing. 

Petty Theft - 23900 block of Del Monte Drive
An unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s unlocked car in the parking garage and stole numerous items from inside the car. 

Grand Theft -24200 block of Magic Mountain Parkway
Three female suspects were arrested after they went to three different locations and stole over 2000 dollars worth of goods from businesses.
 

04/06/2017 Thursday 

Mail Theft - 23100 block of Napa Drive
An unknown suspect made entry into the community mail boxes and stole an unknown amount of mail. 

Grand Theft - 24000 block of Cottage Circle Drive
An unknown suspect gained access to a check written by the victim. The suspect was able to cash the check at a local bank. The victim did not want to provide the deputy with further information.

Grand Theft - 23800 block of Del Monte Drive
An unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole several items totaling over $4,260. 

Petty Theft - 23900 block of Capistrano Court
An unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s vehicle and stole a few personal items from the trunk. 

04/07/2017 Friday 

Mail Theft - 26500 block of Caribou Court
An unknown suspect forced entry into the victim’s community mailbox and stole two packages from the victim. Inside the package was gold which the victim had ordered from an online outlet. 

Petty Theft - 24100 block of Del Monte Drive
An unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s unlocked car and stole his garage door opener. 

Theft by fraud - 26800 block of Marina Point Lane
An unknown suspect called the victim and told him he was going to rent him a place. The victim sent the money to the suspect and went to go move into the house he rented. The house was still occupied. The victim called the suspect and the suspect said he needed more money. The victim sent more. He realized he was the victim of fraud after the suspect kept asking for more money. 

04/09/2017 Sunday 

Grand Theft Auto - 24100 block of Del Monte Drive
An unknown suspect stole the victim’s 2014 Mini Cooper Countryman from the location in the underground parking garage. 

Burglary (Vehicle) - 25700 block of Player Drive
An unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s vehicle and stole a cd player, radar detector and cell phone. 

Burglary (Shoplifting) - 28033 Newhall Ranch Road
A male suspect was arrested from the location for trying to exit the store without paying for the items in his possession. 

Tips on Making Peace & Managing Conflict 

Making Peace - Tips on Managing Conflict Irritated? Frustrated? Angry? Ready to explode? You're not alone. Whether it's an argument with a friend, aggravation because a driver cuts in front of you, or a disagreement about the best way to do a job - conflict is part of everyday life. Conflict produces stress, hurts friendships, and can cause injury and death. We can't always avoid conflict but we can learn to manage it without violence. That way, we use conflict to improve our lives and to learn from past mistakes. 

What skills do you need to manage personal conflict? Understanding your own feelings about conflict. This means recognizing your "triggers," words or actions that immediately provoke an emotional response, like anger. It could be facial expression, a tone of voice, a pointing finger or a certain phrase. Once you know your "triggers," you can better control your emotions. 

Active listening. Go beyond hearing just words; try to understand what the other person is saying. Listen carefully, instead of thinking about what you're going to say next. Active listening requires concentration and body language that says you are paying attention. 

Generating options for resolving a conflict. Many people can think of only two ways to manage conflict - fighting or avoiding the problem. Get the facts straight, brainstorm all ideas that might help resolve the argument, and discuss the pros, cons, and consequences.
