One man is behind bars and a second has a warrant issued for his arrest in the homicide of a Guthrie man. Reggie Dewayne Smith (d.o.b. 9/30/1979) was arrested on an outstanding warrant last week on an unrelated case. Smith was booked into the Logan County jail. Wednesday, OSBI special agents informed Smith of a first degree murder warrant issued on him for the murder of 24-year-old Joey Angelo. Derrick Eugene Smith (d.o.b. 7/24/1991) also has a first degree murder warrant for his arrest on Angelo’s murder. The two men are cousins. Angelo was shot multiple times April 5th outside a Guthrie home. The Guthrie Police Department called in OSBI special agents to help work the case.
