On April 10, 2017, at 4:14 p.m. Deputies with the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office were assisted by the Owensville Police Department in serving a Felony arrest warrant on Nathaniel Casper age 22 of rural Owensville. Upon arriving on scene Sergeant Roger Ballard placed Mr. Casper into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail where he faces three counts of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor.

In March of 2017 Sergeant Roger Ballard launched an investigation into Nathaniel Casper following a report that was made to the Indiana Department of Child Services. In that report Mr. Casper is alleged to have had sexual relations with at least two under age juvenile females between September and December of 2016.

In addition to the arrest warrant that was served Sergeant Ballard advised that a search warrant of Mr. Casper’s residence was served at which time multiple cell phones, tablets, and computers were seized.

Sergeant Ballard is continuing to investigate separate reports of sexual misconduct by Mr. Casper and expect more charges to be filed. Further, Sergeant Ballard encourages anyone with information about these cases to contact him at the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office (812)385-3496.

Mr. Casper remains in custody on a $5,000 bond.
