#019 Mental Health Evaluation
An adult male calls a family member to advise he is considering harming himself.  FPD Dispatch is able to determine that he may have gotten onto an AC Transit bus and then that he exited in the area of Fremont/Bidwell.  Officers locate him.  When they contact him, he’s verbally confrontational and attempts to run toward traffic.  He is restrained and sent to a hospital for a mental health evalution.  Investigated by Officer A. Dennis. 
 
#029 and #031 Warrant Arrest
Officer Watts and FTO Harvey conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested a 25 year old adult male for his two active warrants for petty theft and providing false information to a police officer.
 
#039 and #040 Vehicle Code Violation
Officer Wong conducted two separate traffic stops and arrested/cited a 46 year old adult male and a 36 year old adult male for driving with a suspended driver’s license.
 
#026 Commercial Burglary
CSO Tsai investigated a commercial burglary on the 2900 block of Peralta Blvd at a church.  Multiple containers were broken into.
 
#037 Petty Theft
A female suspect entered Ulta and stole a bottle of fragrance.  The suspect was described as a black female adult, 35-40 years old, 5”10” to 6’ tall, last seen wearing a white hat, blue sport jacket with a white stripe, Adidas shoes, and khaki pants.  The suspect got into a black Land Rover. 
 
#001 DUI and Hit and Run Collision
Officer Higgins arrested a 37 year old adult female for DUI and hit and run.  The male was involved in a vehicle collision near Decoto Rd/Cabrillo Ct and left the scene on foot.  He was located in the area by Sgt. Sanchez.

#007 and #008 Warrant Arrests
Officer Singh stopped a 30 year old adult male and a 20 year old adult male near Fremont/Thornton Ave.  The 20 year old was arrested for his felony burglary warrant and the 30 year old was arrested for numerous drug related warrants. 
 
#024 Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Ammunition and a Probation Violation
Officer Harvey attempted to make a traffic stop but he lost sight of the vehicle momentarily.  A citizen pointed to the direction where the vehicle went and it was now parked in a driveway.  Officer Harvey contacted the driver, later identified as a 30 year old adult male.  The male was on probation and a search of his person and vehicle resulted in his arrest for possession of a controlled substance, possession of ammunition and probation violation.
 
#024 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Officer San Luis conducted a pedestrian stop and subsequently arrested a 24 year old adult male for possession of drug paraphernalia.
 
#025 Petty Theft
The manager at Lucky’s called to report a male had stolen a large amount of merchandise from the store.  He also advised that the suspect was leaving in a black Mercedes.  Officers arrived on scene and located the Mercedes in the parking lot occupied by a female passenger.  She advised that she was there with two other men and that they were in the shopping center.  Sgt. Crandall detained one of the men coming out of Beck’s shoes with shoes in his hands.  He quickly turns around and drops the shoes behind a pillar.  The shoes were later determined to be stolen, but Beck’s did not desire prosecution.  The male, a 34 year old, was later identified in an infield as the theft suspect.  He was arrested and transported to the Fremont Jail.  The other male was contacted and he and the female passenger were released after it was determined they were not involved in the theft.

Officer Johnson arrested a 29 year old adult female for DUI during a vehicle stop near Thornton Ave/Fremont Bl. 
 
#038 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest
Officer Manrique arrested an adult male for possession of drug paraphernalia during a pedestrian stop near Fremont Blvd/Walnut Ave.
 
#035 Under the Influence Arrest
Officer Bordy arrested a 33 year old adult male for being under the influence of a controlled substance during a call at Sprouts. 
 
#004 DUI Arrest
Officer Perry responded to a collision near Paseo Padre Pkwy/Peralta Bl. and arrested a 26 year old adult male for DUI.

#019 Warrant Arrest
Officer Singh conducted a traffic stop near the area of Mowry and Paseo Padre.  The driver, a 22 year old adult male, was determined to have several warrants for his arrest and was taken into custody without incident. 
  
#012 Mental Health Evaluation
A call originally came in as an assault with a deadly weapon (vehicle), at the Shell Gas Station on Grimmer.  The reporting party stated that the female suspect was using her vehicle to ram other vehicles within the station.  Officers arrived and immediately detained the female.   The assault with a deadly weapon report was unfounded, but officers confirmed that she was in need of a mental evaluation.   
 
#020 Mental Health Evaluation
The original call came in as brandishing with a large kitchen knife within the Lucky’s parking lot on Mowry Ave.  The reporting party stated that a male suspect was pacing around a silver van with a large knife. Officers quickly arrive on scene and contact the male as he was walking away from the vehicle.   Officer made contact with the male and also a female in the silver vehicle. Officers learn the male half was reacting to a break up and was in need of a mental evaluation.  The brandishing was unsubstantiated.
 
#033 Health and Safety Code Violation and Vehicle Code Violation
Officer Higgins conducted a traffic stop and arrested/cited the 31 year old adult male driver for driving with suspended driver’s license.  The 45 year old adult male passenger was on probation with a search clause, and he was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation.
 
#027 Vandalism
A reporting party called 9-1-1 after the neighbor to the rear of his house shot a hole through the reporting party’s sliding glass door.  The reporting party confronted the neighbor who told him it was a BB gun.  When the reporting party looked over the fence he saw the neighbor holding what looked like a rifle.  Unsure if it was a BB gun or a real firearm, officers responded and set up containment.  Officers made announcements over the PA and 2 people came out of the residence.  They complied with the officers directions and when the investigation was completed, the BB gun was located in the residence.  Case investigated by Officer Montojo and the incident was supervised by Sgt. Mahboobi.
 
#030 Coroner’s Case
A reporting party called regarding a woman who was not breathing and unresponsive.  She was reported to be lying on some grass along Liberty St.  Officers arrived and found the female.  Fremont Fire also responded and pronounced her deceased at the scene.  Nothing suspicious at this time.  The Alameda County Coroner responded to the scene and will investigate the cause of death.

#003 Officer Involved Shooting
Shortly before midnight, multiple Fremont officers responded to assist an East Bay Regional Park Police Officer with a high risk stop of a vehicle at Fremont Blvd and Decoto Rd.  During the stop, a male in possession of a firearm ran from the vehicle to the rear of nearby businesses.  Responding Fremont officers located the male suspect on top of a box truck vehicle.  The male suspect fired his weapon at officers and they returned fire resulting in an officer involved shooting.  The male suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel.  This remains an ongoing investigation and further details will be released as they become available.  East Bay Regional Park Police, Hayward PD, Union City PD, Newark PD, Milpitas PD, Fremont Fire and CHP all sent personnel to assist with the investigation.
