Hesperia Man Arrested for Attempted Rape and Domestic Violence 
DATE OF INCIDENT: April 9, 2017 – 7:41 pm

INCIDENT: Attempted Rape / Battery on Spouse or Co-Habitant
SUSPECT: Christopher J. Donnelly, DOB 12/09/1980, of Hesperia
SUMMARY: On Sunday, April 9, 2017, at approximately 7:41 pm San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Dispatch received a call of a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 7100 block of Aster Road in Hesperia.
Deputy David Moyer responded to the residence and learned the victim and suspect were arguing over the dissolution of their relationship when the argument turned physical. The victim reported Christopher Donnelly had assaulted her, and attempted to pin her down and force her to have sex with him.
Christopher J. Donnelly was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center on charges of attempted rape and battery on a spouse or co-habitant. Donnelly is being held in lieu of $125,000 bail.
