Helendale Man Arrested for Criminal Threats 
DATE OF INCIDENT: April 6, 2017 – 4:25 pm
LOCATION: Helendale Elementary School, 27274 Peach Tree Lane, Helendale
INCIDENT: Criminal Threats
SUSPECT: Jason Walker, 31 years old, of Helendale
SUMMARY: On Thursday, April 6, 2017, at approximately 4:25 pm, Jason Walker of Helendale was arrested for making criminal threats.
Evidence indicating these threats were discovered by personnel from Helendale Elementary on the school grounds on 2 separate dates. The first incident occurred on March 1, 2017, when documents referencing war were found at the school. On April 5, 2017, additional documents which contained written threats were found at the school. On April 6, 2017, Jason Walker went to the school office and deputies were called to the school again.
Jason Walker was arrested and booked for criminal threats. Walker is currently being held at High Desert Detention Center in lieu of $300,000 bail.
