OSBI Investigates Custer County Homicide
Wednesday April 5, 2017, the Custer County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a body found on the Washita River south of Clinton near the county line of Custer and Washita Counties. The sheriff’s office asked for OSBI Crime Scene services. Today, the sheriff’s office received a call from the medical examiner's office regarding suspicious injuries to the deceased. The sheriff’s office then requested OSBI investigate the death.
Through fingerprints, the OSBI lab identified the man as Thomas Beebe (d.o.b. 06/28/1977). Investigators determined Beebe was on probation in North Dakota and transferred to New Mexico to live with his mother. The New Mexico Probation office reported Beebe as an absconder on March 31, 2017.
